The Met has been around for quite some time and recently Reagan I went there for dinner thanks to Top Dish YYC. I remember the Met having the best Lobster Mac & Cheese which wasn’t as good the last time I was there, being the reason I hadn’t been back but we figured we might as well give it a shot to see if it’s gotten better. They have changed their menus to reflect where the dishes were inspired from which I think is a cool touch. I ordered the Seoul (similar to a bibimbap) from Seoul, Korea and Reagan had the Jambalaya from Louisiana, USA. They were both large portions which was a nice surprise and had great flavors. We also ordered the Asian dumplings as an appetizer, which we got just in time for Happy Hour making them super affordable. The dumplings were OK, but nothing to write home about. The food was definitely good and I think we would go back if we were in the area but because there are so many awesome restaurants downtown now it’s pretty difficult to say that the Met would be at the top of my list.
